Michael Cannell is an associate in the firm's Corporate & Securities Practice Group. Michael advises clients on a range of complex transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, dispositions and leveraged buyouts. He also provides general corporate counsel to clients with respect to business formation, equity structuring, succession planning and other legal issues. Michael enjoys working with clients to identify and implement the most effective solutions for meeting their business objectives.

Michael was an associate at Kirkland & Ellis before joining LP, where he advised private equity clients on transactions in a variety of industries and ranging in size from a few million dollars to multi-billion dollar deals. Prior to pursuing his legal career, Michael was a Social Studies Teacher at Carbondale Community High School.
