Now retired, Milt Levenfeld practiced law for over 60 years.  Most recently he served as of counsel to the firm after a long and successful career as co-founder and senior partner of one of LP’s predecessor firms, a nationally recognized federal tax and estate planning firm.  Over his 60 years of practice, Milt has built a diverse catalogue of clients and matters.  His experience includes planning for the British Post Office Pension Plan, the largest in Great Britain, with respect to its investments in the U.S.; tax counsel for a leading global hospitality company, tax planning and tax litigation for many entrepreneurs in real estate and finance, and other businesses.  He is an expert in sophisticated estate planning and has argued a complicated tax case before the U.S. Supreme Court. 

Although trained as a CPA as well as an attorney, the major focus of Milt’s professional life has been the practice of law. In that capacity, he has lectured and contributed to professional journals in his field.
