Melissa Nelson, LP’s Chief Talent Officer, was recently quoted in Law Practice Magazine, published by the American Bar Association, offering advice on how to train and retain law firm partners. 

“Understanding that there is no one ‘right’ business development style, [LP] strive[s] to meet each partner where they’re at in a way that builds on their natural strengths,” Nelson told the publication.

At LP, we also share the responsibility for professional development. “[Partners] share a responsibility for influencing or motivating associates,” said Nelson.
