Kay is a paralegal in LP’s Litigation Group. Kay plays a critical role in managing discovery and case filings, preparing her attorney teams for hearings and depositions, and providing real-time assistance during all stages of litigation, including trial and arbitration.
A graduate of the University of California, San Diego, Kay has a strong organizational acumen that enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of her legal team. Kay exemplifies the collaborative spirit and attention to detail that are hallmarks of LP’s legal services.
Outside of the office, Kay enjoys performing with and designing costumes for local, Chicago-based opera companies.

What’s one thing someone would be surprised to know about you?
I sew clothing as a hobby and have started designing and building costumes for local opera companies in the last year.What was your very first job?
I worked as a cashier at a Lowe’s hardware store. My one regret is never having gotten to use the paint mixer.What is your favorite month of the year and why?
I love late-May to early-June, especially in the city. Chicago has amazing summers, and I love getting to enjoy the last vestiges of spring, while also looking forward to all the festivals and beach days to come!
