- 100 years ago today, the Tennessee House voted 50-47 to ratify the 19th Amendment, solidifying in our Constitution that the right to vote would not be denied to any citizen on the basis of sex. Of course, the 19th Amendment only secured the right of white women to vote, so it wasn’t until the Voting Rights Act passed that women achieved full suffrage. - There’s no doubt that COVID-19 has upended life as we knew it, including the way businesses function. While no industry has been untouched, the ways the pandemic has impacted a business and industry vary.
