Courtney (Bronstein) Nussbaum is senior counsel in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. Courtney focuses her practice on the representation of developer clients in acquisitions and dispositions of industrial, retail, office and multi-family properties including negotiating purchase and sale agreements, preparing amendments to purchase and sale agreements, conducting extensive title and survey review, abstracting leases and complex easement agreements, preparing estoppels and SNDAs, managing closing checklists, preparing organizational documents and preparing closing documents. She also represents borrower clients in connection with acquisition loans, construction loans and refinancings including negotiating loan documents, preparing legal opinions and managing closing checklists.
Courtney graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law where she received CALI awards for highest grade in Business Organizations and Negotiations. She also is a Dean’s Merit Scholarship Recipient and was on the Dean’s list. Ms. Nussbaum received her bachelor’s degree from Emory University.

An entrepreneur. I love the idea of building something from the ground up.What was your first pet?
A labradoodle, Lou, who became part of our family last year. I have quickly transformed into the stereotypical dog mom. It is hard to believe I wasn’t even a dog person before meeting her!What’s your favorite vacation spot?
The Greek Islands. My husband and I went on our honeymoon and it will always be one of the most special places for me.
