As we reported last year, the pandemic hasn’t had the impact on M&A activity that many feared it would. In fact, for many businesses, now is the perfect time to move forward with an acquisition or sale involving their company. During 2021, LP saw a significant increase in deal activity, with over 100 deals closed in 2021 – a 20% increase from 2020 activity (based on preliminary assessments).
