Carrie Harrington to Present for ALI CLE on Managing Fiduciary Liability

Trusts & Estates Attorney Carrie Harrington will be a presenter for ALI CLE’s “Planning Techniques for Large Estates 2018” program. Carrie will present on Managing and Mitigating Fiduciary Liability on Wednesday, April 25.

Advising high net worth clients always requires weighing a special set of estate planning options, but this year demands an additional understanding of the impact of the recent tax reform. While continuing to develop the best strategies for complex trusts, gift and generation-skipping transfer taxes, and life insurance planning, estate planners in 2018 will also need to review clients’ existing plans and potentially revise related documents to reflect the latest estate and gift tax exclusions and generation-skipping transfer tax exemption.
