Mark is a paralegal in the firm’s Financial Services & Restructuring Group. He has more than 20 years of experience working with attorneys and clients on corporate restructuring matters and also has extensive experience in financing transactions.
Prior to joining LP, Mark was a paralegal with Baker & McKenzie in the Global Restructuring & Insolvency Group and the Banking & Finance Group. He has done pro bono work for Seattle Homeless Youth Handbook, New York Homeless Youth Handbook, and a volunteer walk-in clinic in the Uptown area of Chicago.
He received his M.A. from The University of Chicago and his B.A. from St. John’s College.

What’s your favorite vacation spot?
Anywhere on the ocean where it’s warm enough to surf. Lake Michigan has its limitations.What was your very first job?
Painting curbs and fire hydrants for the City when I was 15. It provided me with a sense of civic responsibility and still helps me avoid parking tickets. Also, you can’t beat working outside.What’s one thing someone would be surprised to know about you?
I have been involved in theatre for most of my life.
